Self Service
Through Self Service, you can perform some updates on your own without needing administrative rights on the computer. Before submitting a ticket, check Self Service to see if the update you want is available. It will be located under the Apple Software Updates section. If the update doesn't appear, submit a Reinstall or Upgrade Operating System ticket.
Required Information in Ticket
You will need the following information to submit a Reinstall or Upgrade Operating System ticket:
- The asset tag on your computer (a 7-digit number on a Property of UWEC sticker located on the bottom of the computer (if it's a laptop) or on the computer tower (if it's an iMac)
- The name of OS you would like it updated to
- Your office location
