How to Enable Pop-ups

Windows

Edge

1. Click the three dots in the top right corner
2. Click Settings
3. Click Cookies and Site Permissions on the left side of the screen
4. Click Pop-ups and redirects
5. In the Allow section, click Add and paste the URL for the website you want to allow pop-ups

Google Chrome

1. Click the three dots in the top right corner
2. Click Settings
3. Click Privacy and Security on the left hand side
4. Click Site Settings in the middle of the screen
5. Scroll down to Pop-ups and redirects
6. Click Add under the Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects section
7. Add the URL for the website you want to allow pop-ups

Firefox

Note: Firefox will usually ask if you want to allow pop-ups.

1. Click Tools
2. Select Options ...
3. Click Privacy and Security located on the left side
4. Select Block pop-up windows below the Permissions section
5. Click OK
6. Exit and relaunch the browser

Mac

Safari

1. Open Safari
2. Click Safari on the top left. In the drop down menu, choose Preferences. You can also press command + comma (⌘ + ,)
3. On the toolbar up top, click on the Websites tab.
4. On the left side, click on Pop-up Windows
5. Find "my.uwec.edu" and change value to allow.

Google Chrome

1. Click the three dots in the top right corner
2. Go to Settings
3. Click Privacy and Security on the left side
4. Click Site Settings in the middle of the screen
5. Scroll down to Pop-ups and redirects
6. Click Add under the Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects section
7. Add the URL for the website you want to allow pop-ups

Firefox

1. Open Firefox
2. Click on Firefox on the top left, then select Preferences
3. On the left, click on the Privacy and Security Section
4. Scroll to the Block Pop-up window option
5. Uncheck the box in front of Block Pop-up option

iPad/iPhone

Safari

1. Go to iOS Settings
2. Tap on the Safari App
3. Scroll down to General
4. Tap on Block Pop-Ups

Note: It should be grey to allow for Pop-Ups.

Google Chrome

1. Tap on the ... or meatball menu
2. Click on Settings
3. Tap Content Settings
4. Select Block Pop-Ups
5. Turn Block Pop-Ups on or off

Firefox

1. Open Firefox
2. Tap the hamburger menu in the lower right corner of the screen
3. Tap on the Settings gear icon in the bottom menu to bring up the Settings screen
4. Turn off the toggle for "Block Pop-up Windows"
5. Select Done

Android

Google Chrome

1. Click the square with a number in it located in the upper right corner of your screen
2. Click the three dots in the upper right corner
3. Select Settings
4. Look for and click on site settings
5. Click Pop-ups and redirects
6. Unblock Pop-ups and redirects

Firefox

1. Access camps.uwec.edu
2. Once the dialog box appears asking if you want to allow Pop-ups, click Allow
